Is Nearer really free?
The Getting Closer pack is free to play. Premium packs unlock with a single one-time purchase. There is no subscription.
Is it only for couples who have been together a long time?
No. Questions work for a few weeks in or many years in. The point is to ask things you have not asked yet.
Can we play it long distance?
Yes. Get on a call, have one person read the card aloud, and both of you answer. Each of you can also install the app.
Does it need an account or an internet connection?
No account. The questions are stored in the app, so it works offline. Buying a pack or restoring a purchase needs a connection.
What happens to our answers?
Nothing. You answer out loud to each other, and the app does not record or collect them. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what the app does collect.
Is Nearer on iPhone?
Not yet. It is currently Android only.
I bought a pack and switched phones. How do I get it back?
Use Restore Purchases in the app, signed in to the same Google Play account. Still locked? Contact support.
